5TH FEBRUARY MARLOW LADIES 2 HAVE WITHDRAWN - PLEASE DELETE ANY FIXTURE THAT YOU HAVE WITH THEM. ANY SCORES AGAINST MARLOW WILL BE DELETED FROM THE LEAGUE SCORES.
1ST FEBRUARY GORING MENS B HAVE WITHDRAWN FROM THAMES VALLEY WINTER LEAGUE DIVISION 2 - PLEASE DELETE ANY FIXTURE THAT YOU MAY HAVE WITH THEM. I REGRET THAT IF YOU HAVE ALREADY PLAYED AGAINST THEM THAT THE SCORES WILL BE DELETED.
GORING MENS B HAVE ALSO WITHDRAWN FROM THE 2010 WILSON SUMMER LEAGUE.

Thank you for all your calls regarding the bad weather and what you should do.
The last time this happened was back in 1981 when 40 matches remained unplayed.
I have extended the closing dateof the league to April 18th.
If you do get very far behind, you can play your matches during the week if you so wish under floodlights. Some teams who do not have lights are swapping venues so that is always a possibility.
If things really do come to the crunch, then unplayed matches can go down as a 4-4 draw so long as both captains agree.
The really important games to decide promotion and relegation will need to be played at some time, even if this does mean extending the closing date. Please remember however, that you cannot cancel summer fixtures once they have been set at The Fixtures Meeting in February.
On another note, my mobile phone sim has given up the ghost (meltdown!) so could you please contact me on my home number or e.mail me from now on.
